The spacious livingroom is canopied by massive spoke-wheel trusses that seem to magically suspend the roof without any means of support, but trust me, this is one sturdy structure!
Not your average pre-fab Hocking Hills, built-in-a-week chalet... this authentic log cabin is solid wood and as natural as the bountiful forest that surrounds it.
This seasoned structure is richly decorated with some of the worlds most diverse artifacts that take your imagination to far off lands as your eye dances from one piece of art to the next, some Early American Craftwork, some African Tribal Sculptures, and some are even original sculptings and paintings created by Jeff (the owner) himself.
Each room is filled with something different, and a single weekend is not enough to view all its treasures.
The library, adjoining the livingroom, stocks an extensive collection of books, both reference and literary, as well as VCRs and CDs to entertain you as you relax from your daily explorations of the Parkland's sites. There's a cozy, wooden benched breakfast nook next to the adjacent kitchen, all within conversation's reach and all enclosed within the main living area.
